Hey everyone I had a funfilled day, ladies 😊 Sherz told me to make roti myself today since I always ask Chachi to do it for me. So I decided to give it a try.
I mixed atta with half a cup of water kneaded it until it felt right, and then made balls. I tried making the first one, but honestly, I wasn't sure if it was right it was a bit of a disaster 😂 The second one was a bit better so I took a picture to show Sherz later.
The third one turned out pretty round, and I was super happy 🥳 I made palak and mixed alu for the meal, but then I remembered Sherz doesn't like it, so I made a separate chana and alu sabzi.
I was so excited to show him everything, but I resisted calling him and decided to surprise him instead. I sent some with a lady from our building and kept the rest for us to have together.
Can't wait for him to see all my hard workSo, I was watching the clock, and time was dragging on. Normally, my day flies by but today it was like it was standing still.
Finally the evening time arrived, and I was so happy. I was thinking, Just be patient, the pain will pass, and it's time to say goodbye to worries.
Then, the evening call to prayer was made, and Sherz came. He said I'm really hungry today, get the table ready quickly. I replied, Okay, you get fresh and ready, it's all set.
He greeted me with a Salam which he does every day, but he often forgets to mention it. When I served the food, he was over the moon with joy.
I showed him my hurt hand and said, Look, it was like this before, believe me, I've taken care of it.
He was convinced and super happy. He hugged me and kissed my forehead, saying, See, you've learned every skill comes with practice. Just be brave, and you'll be ready. ND fries fish
