That's the spirit. I think you're quite level headed with reasonable expectations. Student life is tough. I was a student Nurse a long time ago but I was fortunate to be government funded at the time, and doing a side gig if I could spare the time and energy. I had a bare bones pager then.
I hope someone could gift you a phone. Darn, where is a 'Win-a-phone' contest when you need one?
