Durante los primeros días en casa, usted y su bebé comenzaran a adaptarse a nuevas experiencias, nuevas necesidades, aunque no te compliques nuestro recién nacido lo que realmente busca es sentirse amado, seco y limpio, además de ser alimentado.
Nuestro pequeño nuevo integrante busca comodidad.
HIGIENE DEL BEBÉ
Se recomienda bañarlo a diario, preferiblemente en una habitación que tenga un clima tibio y agradable, sin corrientes de aire. Utiliza agua hervida y un jabón neutro o de glicerina, ya que su piel es muy delicada.
Después del baño, sécalo muy bien y con mucho cuidado, además puedes aplicarle una loción hidratante especial para tu bebé. Se aconseja realizar el baño siempre a la misma hora, antes de comer, creando así hábitos a nuestros pequeños.
CUIDADOS DEL CORDON UMBILICAL
El cordón umbilical se desprende durante las dos semanas de vida. El climp o gancho debe mantenerse seco, limpiándola de 3 a 4 veces al día. Se debe realizar con un algodón o aplicador, humedecidos en alcohol absoluto y continuar haciéndolo hasta dos días después de haberse desprendido.
CUIDADOS DEL AREA DEL PAÑAL
Cambia el pañal de tu bebé tan pronto orine o evacue. Limpia el área con agua y jabón neutro. En el caso de las niñas, usa pañitos humedecidos para limpiar su zona intima, recordando siempre hacerlo de adelante hacia atrás.
LA ROPITA DEL BEBE
El bebé crece muy rápidamente durante el primer año, por ello te sugiero adquirir ropa holgada y de algodón. No lo abrigues demasiado, pues ellos tienen la capacidad de ajustarse a los cambios de temperatura.
Para asegurarte que tu bebe no tenga frio, toca sus piernas o brazos, si esta frio colócale ropita adicional.
En cualquier caso, no dudes en llamar o acudir a tu médico sin perder tiempo e iniciar un tratamiento adecuado y así evitar complicaciones.

DIAPER AREA CARE
Change your baby's diaper as soon as he/she urinates or has a bowel movement. Clean the area with water and neutral soap. In the case of girls, use wet wipes to clean their intimate area, always remembering to do it from front to back.
BABY CLOTHES
The baby grows very quickly during the first year, so I suggest you buy loose-fitting, cotton clothes. Don't overdress them, as they have the ability to adjust to temperature changes.
To make sure your baby is not cold, touch his legs or arms, and if he is cold, put extra clothes on him.
In any case, do not hesitate to call or visit your doctor without wasting time and start an appropriate treatment to avoid complications.
