¡Hola a todos, desde cualquier parte del mundo donde estén! Después de un largo reseso de Hive, y del mundo digital en general, encontré fuerzas -créanme que sí- para escribir mi participación de la semana al concurso de Ladies of Hive. Para no perder la costumbre, estoy aquí respondiendo a una de sus preguntas, y compartiendo mis ideas con otras mujeres de esta linda comunidad.

Hello everyone, from anywhere in the world! After a long review of Hive, and the digital world in general, I found the strength -believe me- to write my entry for the Ladies of Hive contest this week. In order not to lose the habit, I am here answering one of your questions, and sharing my ideas with other women from this beautiful community.
Now without further ado, let's get started!

1️⃣ ¿Cuándo fue la última vez que se desafió a sí mismo, o quién fue la última persona que lo desafió y cómo funcionó?
La idea de ponerse desafíos a uno mismo, es de gran valentía, creo yo. Porque no hay nadie más vigilando que cumplas, o que califique tu esfuerzo, solo eres tú cumpliendote a ti mismo, para tu propio crecimiento. Eres tu propia voz de alaridos de ánimos, y consuelo cuando las cosas no salen como lo esperado.
Mis desafíos este año, van desde la apertura de mi blog en Hive, hasta el ultimo que fue hace unos días bajar una colina -teniendo en cuenta que me asusta mucho los caminos escarpados-. Pero quiero hablar de uno en particular que me propuse a mediado de abril de este año.
1️⃣ When did you last challenge yourself, or who was the last person to challenge you and how did that work out?
The idea of challenging oneself is a very brave one, I think. Because there is no one else watching you perform, or qualifying your effort, it is only you performing yourself, for your own growth. You are your own voice of encouragement, and comfort when things do not go as expected.
My challenges this year, range from the opening of my blog in Hive, to the last one that was a few days ago down a hill - considering that I am very afraid of steep roads. But I want to talk about one in particular that I set out to do in mid-April this year.

Manejar programas de edición digital gratis. O al menos a un nivel básico.
Pasa que cuando tuve noción de lo importante que es tener una presencia digital formidable, corrí a abrir mis redes sociales, pero fuera de eso, no sabía ni que hacer. No sabía ni utilizar los programas sencillos de edición de fotos, o cualquier cosa.
Los programas pagos, no estaban a mi alcance, y menos pagarle a alguien para que hiciera ese trabajo por mi. Eso me llevo a proponerme este desafío; debía aprender porque no tenía de otra, y necesitaba empezar a construir mi marca personal.
Así fue como empece a jugar con mis fotos, y darles un toque más artístico. Aunque al principio era solo por experimentar, ahora me funciona mucho para dar un toque de originalidad a mis fotografías.
Handle digital editing programs for free. Or at least at a basic level.
It happens that when I had a notion of how important it is to have a formidable digital presence, I ran to open my social networks, but outside of that, I didn't even know what to do. I didn't even know how to use the simple photo-editing programs, or anything else.
The paid programs were not within my reach, let alone paying someone to do that work for me. That led me to take on this challenge; I had to learn because I had no other choice, and I needed to start building my personal brand.
That's how I started to play with my photos, and give them a more artistic touch. Although at the beginning it was just to experiment, now it works a lot to give a touch of originality to my photographs.

Este conocimiento me llevo a generar contenido para mi actual pagina de Facebook El Baúl de Laura y canal de Youtube Laura QCh, abajo estarán sus link por si osan curiosear.
Aunque no soy una experta, me siento bastante contenta con lo que he logrado, no satisfecha, sé que me falta mucho, pero sí contenta. Pues si me comparará a hace un año, no sería capaz de darle un buen uso a algunos de los programas que ahora uso casi a diario.
Eso fue todo por hoy, espero que les haya gustado, y quisiera, por ultimo, invitar a quien recién esta dando sus primero pasitos en Hive @mariblue para que también se una a este grandioso concurso.

Although I am not an expert, I feel quite happy with what I have achieved, not satisfied, I know that I have a long way to go, but I am happy. Well, if you compare me to a year ago, I would not be able to put to good use some of the programs that I now use almost daily.

Hola, oye yo también quiero ponerme en orbita con la edición, le dan un toque fresco a los post, alimentarlos así es más llamativo, me encantan las cosas hechas así que van de la mano con lo que hablas, por eso en mis publicaciones intento poner fotos mías llamativas ya que la edición no es lo mio entonces tengo que esforzarme mucho para que sean llamativos. Aunque descargué un programa y últimamente he puesto en práctica pero no tan bien jajaja.. Pero leyendo tu post me atreveré con esas herramientas y programas que mencionas a ver qué tal me va. Que bueno que te atrevas a más, amiga, esa es la aptitud. Yo creí que no podría aprender, porque al no saber nada, lo veía super difícil, pero poco a poco uno se va adentrando y se da cuenta que todo es empezar... luego lo demás viene por consecuencia. Utilizo algunas herramientas más profesionales como Gimp, pero también unas muy sencillas que te ayudaran a hacer ver tus post más lindos, como Canva o PicsArt.
