I believe anyone would agree with me that it's good to look good. Now, the dilemma comes when you're trying to figure out the reason you look good. Some people would say they choose to look good just so they can feel great for themselves. Some others would admit that they do it for others to see them in a positive way.
I think it's both. The two criteria are linked to each other. I believe the best thing is to look great so that you can feel good about yourself and so that others can view you in a better way.
When you choose to look good for yourself, there's a confidence you get. You walk into rooms with boldness. You go out with confidence. You're not easily intimidated. Looking good makes you feel good about yourself.
Looking good so others can have a good opinion about you is another important thing. I believe that first impression matters, and even every impression after that. People tend to regard you by how good you look. When you look so good, they tend to respect you more.
When you look good, you get compliments, and that in turn boosts your confidence. It's like a cycle. I guess the point I'm trying to make is, looking good for yourself and looking good for others should coincide. They should be the same thing.
There's another angle to this that is crucial. When you look good, opportunities come your way. People would be willing to give you opportunities because they believe you can handle it. They see you as a person of capacity and someone who is responsible enough to take on a task and deliver. This is how people thrive in their businesses. Looking good attracts opportunities.
Apart from opportunities, looking good can also attract a partner. The eyes are the first point of attraction. People are first attracted by what they see. When someone sees you and you look good, they like you, things could move from there. Some people end up meeting the best partners in this manner.
In conclusion, there are mostly advantages to looking good. Looking good both for yourself and others to see is always best. Admiration naturally follows
