This week @ladiesofhive - Contest talks about how women have been treated in the past and how things have changed for them in the recent times.
This is one change that is directly related to the mindset that one holds. Even at large if the society has been changing but if the individual mindsets have no change, then nothing really is going to change for Women. There are still places like Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia where women have no rights and no freedom, almost every woman experiences some form of domestic violence. So, if the rest of the world has progressed and women of these regions are still suffering than that in no ways mean that we as whole the Women of the world have progressed.
In today's time there are many women in positions of power but still the ratio is small in comparison with men. The number of men and women are almost equal, statistics show that out of 1,000 people, 504 are men (50.4%) and 496 are women (49.6%), but there are so many jobs where the same ratio is not there. So then where is the question of equality?
Women have always been treated as a weaker gender, where the male dominant society feels that women have less physical power and strength. How can they even think that. A woman gives birth to a child which is the most painful experience in the Universe and they say that women are the weaker ones. That's total hypocrisy.
Do we ever talk about Man Empowerment? Why not?
Because man thinks that they do not need that, they already owe that. Then why do we Women have to always think and talk about Women Empowerment, why can't we just owe it as the man do. This in itself creates a difference between the 2 genders making the women weaker ones and they stand in all the power.
In many parts of the world, The Women have been rising up to their status but in many parts of the world they still succumb to the male dominant society. Numbers of rape cases are increasing day by day. How many times do we hear about a man getting raped against a woman rape, then how can we say that woman is getting better when every minute somewhere in the world a woman is getting sexually assaulted.
We may be seeing few instances of Women's achievements but that is not equality, those are few exceptions rising up. We need to stop talking about Women Empowerment and believe that we are already empowered as equally as man in everything. Still the society believes that the Man of the house is the bread earner, but it is not that way, even the woman of the house is the bread earner and equally contributes to the family, rather taking up more than the man can do.
It is the duty of every single Mother to imbibe this in their Children in their growing up, that there is no difference between the two, both are equal and no one has more or less rights than the others. If two whole generations do this only then will this whole crap of Women being inferior and Men being superior will change.
I will like to invite @taliakerch to participate in this contest.

Check out the last post from @hivebuzz:
Women have super powers. We can withstand the heat of adversity and still show love to those in need. For example, The women who ministered to our Lord Jesus out of their substance. Women are courageous and super intelligent and we all MUST realise this. Women have to completely change their mindset and stop seeing themsellves weak and dominated by men but find their voice.
God loves and believes in women and cane to the earth through a woman. God made women to be instruments of change and this is how we should see ourselves. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely, I agree with what you say. We have to be compassionate towards each other and give a helping hand to the ones who need. There are so many influences that it is never possible to think that all the women of the world will ever start thinking alike, but what we can do is show empathy towards each other. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Ow thank you so much ❤
Indeed! It is in the family that a child, girl or boy, learns equality and respect for others.
Thanks for sharing @nainaztengra

This!!!!
I think that in regards to this we need to act more and say less. I know there are people that do both equally but if most of us take actions more than we talk about the problem it'll go a long way to help.
There are women in some parts of the world like Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia like you mentioned that aren't enjoying the type freedom we do and they don't even have the luxury of talking openly about things like this but despite their situation they find ways to survive a world that's built against them.
If this isn't strength I don't know what is and I admire them for this.
I believe that in any way we choose to show our strengths we should do it only for us and not to prove some people wrong.
I know many people nowadays are all about breaking away from the stereotype but doing it for the wrong reasons will cause more harm than good.
In some real life cases women aren't even kind to each other so the fight for the world to be kind to us is a little laughable sometimes.
I believe that a chain of small seemingly insignificant events put together can bring about the change we desperately seek and we should start these good things amongst ourselves first before we can look outside for others to do good things to us.
This is one of the reasons I love the @ladiesofhive community because women empowering and supporting women is one of the things I love to see.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.❣️
P.s: I love the short video thingy at the end of your post reminds me of chakras and other spiritual stuff I find very interesting 😊
Yes, I agree with you that we need to take more action than talking about it. Well those women who still succumb to the male dominant society they do have a lot of power to withstand their atrocities but at the same time I have also seen that they have become very resilient over the time and accepted it as their part of life. If you talk about women empowerment to them they will turn their back on you because they feel that what is happening is right for them. This is the way they have been brainwashed under the name of the religion.
Whereas in some part of the world as you say women are breaking their stereotypes for wrong reasons.
There is a mix of everything, but most importantly if we want the change we are the only ones who can bring it, there is no one coming from up to help us.
Thank you for your beautiful expressive thoughts on my blog.
Ohhh yes, I love the way the footer has come out and I just do not feel like changing it unless I have something better than this.
This is very true.
You are welcome 🥰
This is okay but I'm certain that whatever you may decide to change it to will be equally beautiful 😊
que buen tema, por años ha generado polémica, pero es una deuda histórica que tenemos como mujeres, excelente iniciativa
Yes, we women are power and strength
I couldn't agree more. It's because it was rooted in the past and to be able to change something for the next generations, the current ones have to start initiating the change.
There is so much diversity in the women gender and cultural and religious influences that it will take generations to come to that one level of understanding as a whole gender.
That is so true. It needs radical actions to change them. It is a challenge that the current and future generations have to work on if we want absolute change. And I know that such is easier said than done.
