This is the story with many areas in my city Mumbai. There is extreme shortage in supply of water. It also reminds me of my childhood times, it was a very old building that I lived in so we could not put overhead water tanks and my dad had made arrangements of big drums to store water. Water supply would be only for 2 hours in morning 5 to 7 and then off, we had to make sure everything was filled up and if possible even finish with bathing and cleaning in those 2 hours.
