Hello friends, it is an honor to participate in this Ladies of Hive contest that every week brings us. The questions are: sometimes we meet amazing people who in our eyes are true heroes, but often they are behind the curtains and not many know it. Who is your silent hero? Or If you could jump into the unknown ... where would you jump?
I will answer, who are my silent heroes, they are ordinary people who with their work save lives, they are my friends and co-workers, with whom I have the pleasure and happiness to work shoulder to shoulder to get ahead despite the situation so precarious in which we live. They are my medical, nursing, worker and administrative staff who give everything to come to work and be able to efficiently and humanely serve our dialysis patients.
Hola amigos, es un honor participar en este concurso de Ladies of Hive que cada semana nos trae. Las preguntas son: veces conocemos a personas increíbles que a nuestros ojos son verdaderos héroes, pero a menudo están detrás de las cortinas y no muchos lo saben. ¿Quién es tu héroe silencioso? O Si pudieras dar un salto hacia lo desconocido ... ¿dónde saltarías?
Yo responderé, quienes son mis héroes silenciosos, son personas comunes que con su trabajo salvan vidas, son mis amigos y compañeros de trabajo, con los que tengo el gusto y la dicha de trabajar hombro a hombro para salir adelante a pesar de la situación tan precaria en que vivimos. Ellos son mi personal médico, de enfermería, obrero y administrativo que dan todo por venir a trabajar y poder atender de manera eficiente y humana a nuestros pacientes de diálisis.
I have been working in a hemodialysis clinic as an administrator for 16 years. Due to the country situation and the economic debacle, together with the pandemic, working with patients has become more difficult because we depend on what the government provides us (medical and biosafety supplies), to be able to work and care for patients. The shortage and not sent of these supplies put the lives of our patients at risk, but thanks to the solidarity of all the staff we do not always devise it so that our patients receive adequate care and their lives are not in danger.
Trabajo, en una clínica de hemodiálisis como administradora desde hace 16 años. Debido a la situación país y la debacle económica, aunado con la pandemia trabajar con pacientes se ha vuelto más difícil porque dependemos de lo que nos provea el gobierno (insumos médicos y de bioseguridad), para poder trabajar y atender a los pacientes. La escasez y no envió de estos insumos ponen en riesgo la vida de nuestros pacientes, pero gracias a la solidaridad de todo el personal siempre no la ideamos para que nuestros pacientes reciban la atención adecuada y sus vidas no corran peligro.
I have seen doctors and nurses work with their nails to not stop dialyzing, staying out of work hours just to help a patient who after dialysis becomes decompensated and must be treated urgently. To nurses who many times, despite not feeling well, go to work and give 110% so that their patients feel good and are in the mood to continue treatment.
He visto a los médicos y enfermeras trabajar con las uñas para no dejar de dializar, quedándose fuera de horarios de trabajo solo por ayudar a un paciente que luego de dializarse se descompensa y debe ser atendido de urgencia. A enfermeras que muchas veces a pesar de no sentirse bien ir a trabajar y dar el 110% para que sus pacientes se sientan bien y estén con ánimos para continuar el tratamiento.
They are my heroes because beyond a job, patients become their family, their friends many times. As far as you do not know, a dialysis patient needs to be dialysed 3 times a week, every week for between four to three hours, in that time the bonds of friendship between the patient and the nurse are strengthened as well as with the doctor, worker and administrative personnel.
Ellos son mis héroes porque más allá de un trabajo, los pacientes se convierten en su familia, en sus amigos muchas veces. Para lo que no sepan un paciente dialítico necesita dializarse 3 veces por semana, todas las semanas por entre cuatro a tres horas, en ese tiempo los lazos de amistad paciente/enfermera se estrecha al igual que con el médico, personal obrero y administrativo.
The sacrifice and dedication of all my staff, both medical, nursing, worker and administrative make them my heroes and the heroes of my patients.
El sacrificio y entrega de todo mi personal, tanto médico, de enfermería, obrero y administrativo hacen que ellos sean mis héroes y los héroes de mis pacientes.
