I believe that Women's Day, Valentine's Day and holidays similar to this are a nice way to show appreciation but women and love (and men) should be celebrated every day! Giving someone a small gift, card, note or even sending a text message without any specific occasion is such a nice way to let them know you appreciate and think about them other than days like this when it's kind of expected. However, it is still nice to receive wishes and small presents. :)
I got my mom, sister-in-law and my neighbor some stuff from Avon since I became Avon sales person few months ago so it was easy for me to order something from the catalogue. I went with some things I know everyone use/need such as shower gels, hand creams etc. I also got one cosmetic product and a small glass water bottle that are not of the photo. Flowers and chocolate are always something I like to receive even though some people consider it "basic". My nephew gave me gummy bears from his stash which was so cute, haha! I don't know the name of the white flower but the other one is hyacinth and I am really looking forward for it to bloom so I can see what color it is! I just have to make sure to take care of it properly.
Other than that, today was just a regular day, I had a lot of coffee, I did some studying for Uni which I will continue now, spent time with family... Tomorrow is going to be a lot more busy as I am going to the city and I'll try to get as many things done as I can in one go.
