1️⃣ You were offered a job by an overseas firm in a country you've always wanted to visit. However, you cannot take your immediate family (spouse and kids) with you until two years later. Would you grab the opportunity? Share your thoughts, please.
If I were given a job offer with a firm in a country I have always wanted to visit, as much as that would be a dream come true, I wouldn't jump into it without any careful consideration.
While the thought of living in a dream country might be so strong and alluring, I will try as much as possible to make the right decisions for not just me but for my family also.
Firstly, I will research the company/firm that offered me the job; I am going to look into their reputation, stability, and growth prospects. I am not going to leave the salary, bonuses, and working environment out because I need to be so sure that it aligns with my expectations.

I will also do my research on the country's economic system, cost of living, and cultural nuances. I really need to know if this opportunity would genuinely improve our quality of life.If after doing my due diligence it eventually yields positive results, then I will surely discuss the offer with my spouse, sharing my findings and weighing the pros and cons together.
Given that my partner is such an understanding and supportive person, I am very sure he would agree to the relocation conditions, especially if it's going to benefit our family's future.
There have been cases of a lot of men relocating abroad for extended periods, leaving their families behind, before relocating with them also in order to pursue better opportunities for themselves and their families. And more often than not, their partners support their decisions, trusting that the sacrifices will pay off in the long run.
This is also not a difference; I think an understanding spouse would be willing to make similar sacrifices if it means securing a brighter future for their loved ones.
So in my case, I think a two-year sacrifice will be worthinvesting in our future, which would offer us a chance to experience life and opportunities in a new country.
