This week we want to know:
1️⃣ Would you rather go without water or electricity for a week?
Or

I choose to answer the first question.
But firstly, have you heard of "up NEPA!" before? Having no electricity for one week is not a big deal for me. However, I can't even imagine not having water for a day. I won't cope. I just would not feel fine!
Wait. Let me give you a realistic gist of how a day will go for me if I had no water.
Imagine I was on my period. First I wake up to pee in the morning and no water for a lady on her period to clean up! Shortly after, my baby wakes up and I begin to pray she doesn't poop because that will be disastrous. Well, eventually she did! Use baby wipes you say? OK I just did.
My husband wakes up too and we start going around talking with our morning breaths! OK, we can use mouth wash right? Alright. That will suffice.
Since there is no water to have our morning hot Choco, we micro wave something from the freezer and accompany it with a cup or two of fruit juice and go about our day without having a shower or emptying our bowels which is like a daily thing for us.
My baby can't have her baby food either because no water so she'll make do with breast milk.
We take some snacks for launch and with more fruit juice.
Evening came so fast and no water to cook, bath, clean, wash, drink! Arrgh! Cut! Cut! This will not fly. I can't even complete the imagination for one day talk more of having a repeat for the second day and the day after for good seven days!
I asked if you know about up NEPA earlier. Well, its a condition where power supply is celebrated in Nigeria. The power don't have to last. In fact no body expects it to last. The a absence of electricity for a weak is manageable. For me It only means taking a break from TV. I can easily opt for generator but that would be cheating so what I'll do is ask if I can pump water and have tanks full, charge my phone and power bank, recharge my lamps just before the dare begins.
You know what? Offer me a nice, well planned one week get away to an island with everything but electricity anytime and I'm up for it. The beach, trees, fresh air, coconut water,roasted chicken and night view is a lot more satisfying than electricity.
Over here even electricity can't do without water! In a nut shell, electricity got nothing on me.
