Since some time ago I understood that I should be thankful for everything. For the good and the not so good that happens to me.
Las experiencias no gratas son para enseñarme, sin duda cada vez que paso por una situación desfavorable salgo fortalecida y preparada para afrontar la vida desde otra perspectiva y otro punto vista o con una vista más amplia.
The unpleasant experiences are to teach me, no doubt every time I go through an unfavorable situation I come out strengthened and prepared to face life from another perspective and another point of view or with a broader view.

Hace más de 5 años mi mamá y yo conocimos a una persona, era una señora que venía frecuentemente a la casa hacernos el manicure y pedicure. Una persona humilde, espontánea a la cual le teníamos mucha estima, le tomamos mucho cariño. A finales del año 2020 nos enteramos que sufrió un ACV y que su situación era muy delicada, estaba en coma en el hospital, no lo podíamos creer 💔 fue una noticia bastante triste ya que era una persona joven y se veía bien, quizás vivió con ciertos excesos que resultaron en ese momento tan trágico.
More than 5 years ago my mom and I met a person, a lady who often came to our house to give us manicures and pedicures. A humble, spontaneous person to whom we had a lot of esteem, we were very fond of her. At the end of 2020 we found out that she suffered a stroke and that her situation was very delicate, she was in coma in the hospital, we could not believe it 💔 it was quite sad news as she was a young person and looked good, maybe she lived with certain excesses that resulted in that tragic moment.
Ella era especial, recuerdo que a parte de trabajar arreglando manos y pies también tejía, mi mamá siempre le pedía que le hiciera juegos de pañitos tejidos, en una oportunidad yo vi unos cuellos tejidos que me enamoraron a primera vista y le pedí que me hiciera uno, ella me miraba y se reía me decía que no sabía, sin embargo me pedía ver la imágen una y otra vez y para mí felicidad no me hizo uno me hizo dos, pueden ver un modelo en la foto de la portada.
She was special, I remember that besides working fixing hands and feet she also knitted, my mom always asked her to make sets of knitted scarves, in one opportunity I saw some knitted collars that I fell in love with at first sight and I asked her to make me one, she looked at me and laughed and told me that she didn't know, however she asked me to see the image again and again and to my happiness she didn't make me one she made me two, you can see a model in the cover photo.
El 31 de Diciembre a las 8am mi mamá me llama para que salga porque alguien había llegado de visita, era ella 😳 no lo podía creer , la señora Carmen había llegado a la casa había venido caminando desde su casa que queda algo retirada. Tiene la parte izquierda de su cuerpo rígido y paralizado pero su fuerza de voluntad es aún mayor y con una silla de rueda logra caminar con pasos lentos pero lo hace, llegó hasta mi casa a visitarnos. Me sentí muy complacida de verla, no lo podía creer era ella con su elocuencia podía hablar perfectamente, se lamenta porque no puede tejer sin embargo verla tan bien después de lo que sucedió me parece increíble y hasta atrevido pedir más. Para mi significó mucho volverla a ver y justo ese último día del año. Pensé muchas cosas y terminé diciendo Dios una vez más me muestra y enseña que a pesar de las adversidades y de lo que nos pueda suceder rendirse jamás será la opción.
On December 31 at 8am my mom called me to go out because someone had come to visit, it was her 😳 I could not believe it, Mrs. Carmen had come to the house, she had come walking from her house which is a little far away. Her left side of her body is stiff and paralyzed but her willpower is even greater and with a wheelchair she manages to walk with slow steps but she does it, she came to my house to visit us. I was very pleased to see her, I could not believe it, she could speak perfectly with her eloquence, she regrets because she cannot knit, but to see her so well after what happened seems incredible and even daring to ask for more. For me it meant a lot to see her again and just that last day of the year. I thought many things and ended up saying God once again shows me and teaches me that in spite of the adversities and whatever may happen to us, surrender will never be the option.
Hoy quiero Agradecer desde lo más profundo de mi ser por volver a ver a la Sra Carmen, por ese regalo y enseñanza que recibí a través de ella.
Today I want to give thanks from the deepest part of my being for seeing Mrs. Carmen again, for the gift and teaching I received through her.
Siempre hay razones para agradecer aunque las situaciones sean adversas, aunque en el momento no lo entendamos y no lo veamos habrá un mensaje y enseñanza.
There are always reasons to be thankful even if the situations are adverse, even if at the moment we do not understand and do not see it, there will be a message and teaching.
