It looks that Spanish people like these art sculptures as I saw a couple in different towns... It's interesting that in some countries we have those giant politicians/rulers sculptures, but I like those that are expressing completely different messages...

Yes, it does look like that. They share more every day life… pretty things rather than political / rulers statues.
I prefer these ones too. More arty and most people will like them. They do brighten up a street.
