Responding to the kind invitation of my very dear @sacra97 and the beautiful @trangbaby, I join this new community contest.
Love, love, love... What a small word, isn't it? But how big is its meaning!
Love is surrender, it's unconditionality, it's support, it's happiness, it's fullness. Love is everything. It is the engine that moves the world. Whoever does not have the blessing of loving and being loved, must be very sad. I wish everyone in the world was loved. We all deserve love. And not only the love of a couple is valuable, but love in general. The love of family, of children, of parents, of friends.
That said, I want to answer the two questions that @trangbaby brings for us.
1️⃣ How do you know when you are in love? What are the signs?
The secret of love is in the eyes. It is the way people look at each other, it is what the eyes say when the lips are still. And it goes beyond that. It is the desire to make your loved one laugh, the desire to make them happy, to embrace, to no longer want to be alone. But in short, that way of looking at each other that those who love each other have, is unmistakable. It makes the rest of the people, the world disappear and only those two beings remain, those two souls that merge with their gaze.
That's what I felt every time I looked at my beloved Italian guy. They were eleven years of infinite love, of happiness. I met him when I was 15 years old. He was my first boyfriend, my first and only love. My everything. We were together until an accident took him away from me, after being connected to machines that kept him "alive".
For eleven years we lived a fairytale love, it was beautiful. We were meant for each other. After him, there has been no one else to take his place. I have grown to love others, yes, I even got married, but I never felt again what I felt for Sergio. And ironically, after him, I don't know if it was a coincidence or a trick of fate, that every February 14, I have been alone. I never celebrated Valentine's Day again.
I don't say this with sadness, or to be told "poor girl". No. Not at all. I thank life, God, the Universe for having given me the opportunity to have known, to have belonged to a being as special as him. I will never forget him, I will never stop loving him. I am not clinging to the past, far from it, but it is part of my life and it is that love that you feel once in a lifetime and that you know is forever.
2️⃣ Does love come on suddenly or does it grow over time? What are your keys to making sure your relationship stays strong and healthy?
It depends on each experience. For some, as in my case, it appeared suddenly. It was love at first sight. Since we met for the first time at my cousin's 15th birthday party. I remember she introduced him to me and the "click" we made was immediate. We looked at each other and smiled. He asked me to dance, but I didn't know how to do it. It didn't matter, it seemed like it was just me and him on the dance floor.
Then we just sat down and started talking, laughing, furtively brushing hands. It was all so beautiful. No one believed that two such young people could last so long. Nobody bet on us. Already after a year together I think they began to realize that yes, it really was love at first sight that grew over time.
Are there any guarantees that a relationship will be strong, healthy and stable?
Nothing in the world is guaranteed. When it is meant to be, it will be in spite of everything, in spite of having the world against you. When something is meant to be, against all odds, it will be.
Of course, for everything to be smooth, healthy and more beautiful, it is necessary to take care of it. Like a plant 🌿, you have to water it so that it grows healthy and strong.
For everything to happen in a healthy and positive way, it is necessary:

📌 Tolerance
📌 Sense of humor
📌 Humility
📌 Zero pride (it is, in my opinion, the worst enemy of a relationship).
📌 A touch of craziness
📌 Unconditionality.
📌 Of course, love
And since it's not all about couple love, I've always loved. I have a lot of love to give. It is a love that has undergone several metamorphoses. Love towards my parents, towards my friends, towards new partners. But the most important metamorphosis has been the love for my son. It is a love beyond everything, beyond life itself, beyond time.
This love has no conditions and no expiration date. This love is unbreakable and overcomes the barriers of time and space. It is a feeling that grows day by day, it is that inner discovery of our great capacity to love. For me, this love for my son is my engine, my motivation. It is that reason to want to do and achieve great things to give him the best, so that his life, as long as he depends on me, is infinitely happy. And I believe I have been achieving it.
For my son and for my son, everything. Forever. In this and the lives to come. It's a "forever."
So I think I was wrong when I said that since Sergio's death, I had not celebrated the day of love again, because the truth is that I have been celebrating it since Gabriel, my son came into my life.

Respondiendo a la amable invitación de mi muy querida @sacra97 y la bella @trangbaby, me uno a este nuevo concurso de la comunidad.
Amor, amor, amor... ¡qué palabra tan pequeña! ¿verdad? Pero cuán grande es su significado!
Amor es entrega, es incondicionalidad, es apoyo, es felicidad, es plenitud. El Amor lo es todo. Es el motor que mueve al mundo. Quien no tiene la bendición de amar y ser amado, debe ser muy triste. Desearía que todos en el mundo fueran amados. Todos merecemos amor. Y no solo el amor de pareja es valioso, sino el amor en general. El amor de familia, de los hijos, de los padres, de los amigos.
Dicho esto, quiero responder las dos preguntas que @trangbaby trae para nosotras.
1️⃣ ¿Cómo sabes cuándo estás enamorado? ¿Cuáles son los signos?
El secreto del amor está en los ojos. Es esa forma que tienen las personas de mirarse unas a otras, es lo que dicen los ojos cuando los labios están inmóviles. Y va más allá. Son esas ganas de hacer reír a quien amas, son esas ganas de hacer feliz, de abrazar, de ya no querer estar solos. Pero en definitiva, esa manera de mirarse que tienen quienes se aman, es inconfundible. Hace que el resto de las personas, que el mundo desaparezca y solo queden esos dos seres, esas dos almas que se funden con la mirada.
Eso es lo que yo sentía cada vez que miraba a mi amado chico italiano. Fueron once años de infinito amor, de felicidad. Le conocí cuando yo tenía 15 años. Fue mi primer novio, mi primer y único amor. Mi todo. Estuvimos juntos hasta que un accidente lo arrebató de mi lado, después de estar conectado a máquinas que lo mantenían "con vida".
Durante once años vivimos un amor de cuento de hadas, fue hermoso. Éramos el uno para el otro. Después de él, no ha habido alguien más que pueda ocupar su lugar. He llegado a querer a otros, sí. Incluso me casé, pero jamás volví a sentir lo que sentí por Sergio. E irónicamente, después de él, no sé si ha sido casualidad o jugarretas del destino, que cada 14 de febrero, he estado sola. Nunca más volví a celebrar el día de San Valentín.
No lo digo con tristeza, ni para que me digan "pobrecita". No. En absoluto. Doy gracias a la vida, a Dios, al Universo de haberme dado la oportunidad de haber conocido, de haber pertenecido a un ser tan especial como él. Jamás lo olvidaré, jamás dejaré de amarle. No estoy aferrada al pasado ni mucho menos, pero es parte de mi vida y es ese amor que se siente una vez en la vida y que se sabe, es para siempre.
2️⃣ ¿El amor aparece repentinamente o crece con el tiempo? ¿Cuáles son sus claves para garantizar que su relación se mantenga fuerte y saludable?
Depende de cada vivencia. Para algunos, como en mi caso, apareció repentinamente. Fue amor a primera vista. Desde que nos vimos por primera vez en la fiesta de 15 años de mi prima. Recuerdo que ella me lo presentó y el "clic" que hicimos fue inmediato. Nos miramos y sonreímos. Él me invitó a bailar, pero no sabía hacerlo. No importaba, parecía que en la pista de baile éramos solo él y yo.
Después solo nos sentamos y comenzamos a hablar, a reír, a rozarnos las manos de manera furtiva. Fue todo tan hermoso. Nadie creía que dos personas tan jóvenes pudiesen durar tanto tiempo. Nadie apostó por nosotros. Ya al cumplir el año juntos creo que comenzaron a darse cuenta de que sí, de que en realidad era amor a primera vista que fue creciendo con el tiempo.
¿Garantías de que una relación sea fuerte, saludable y estable?
Nada en el mundo está garantizado. Cuando está destinado a ser, será a pesar de todo, a pesar de tener al mundo en contra. Cuando algo es para uno, contra viento y marea, será.
Claro que para que todo sea suave, sano y más hermoso, es necesario cuidarlo. Como una planta 🌿, hay que regarla para que crezca sana y fuerte.
Para que todo se dé de manera saludable y positiva, es necesario:
📌 Respeto
📌 Tolerancia
📌 Sentido del humor
📌 Humildad
📌 Cero orgullo (es, a mi parecer, el peor enemigo de una relación).
📌 Un toque de locura
📌 Incondicionalidad
📌 Por supuesto, amor
Y como no todo es el amor de pareja, yo siempre he amado. Tengo mucho amor para dar. Es un amor que ha sufrido varias metamorfosis. El amor hacia mis padres, hacia mis amigos, hacia nuevas parejas. Pero la metamorfosis más importante ha sido el amor hacia mi hijo. Es un amor más allá de todo, más allá de la vida misma, más allá del tiempo.
Este amor no tiene condiciones ni fecha de caducidad. Este amor es inquebrantable y supera las barreras del tiempo y del espacio. Es un sentimiento que crece día a día, es ese descubrimiento interno de nuestra gran capacidad de amar. Para mí, este amor por mi hijo es mi motor, es mi motivación. Es esa razón de querer hacer y lograr grandes cosas para darle lo mejor, para que su vida, mientras dependa de mí, sea infinitamente feliz. Y creo que lo he estado logrando.
Por mi hijo y para mi hijo, todo. Para siempre. En esta y las vidas que vienen. Es un "para siempre".
Así que creo que me equivoqué cuando dije que yo desde la muerte de Sergio, no había vuelto a celebrar el día del amor, porque lo cierto es que lo he venido celebrando desde que Gabriel, mi hijo llegó a mi vida.
Para todos mis compañeros de Hive, para mis bellas damas de Hive, les deseo un bellísimo día del amor y la amistad y que cada una lo celebre con la o las personas que sean más importantes para ustedes.
