Thank you so much for this heartfelt comment. You touched a very sensitive and special fiber in me. You are right; while Shuri Ryu gives him discipline and strength, what he did that day came from a much deeper place. Seeing that honor and protection in his heart makes me feel that every effort has been worth it. He is, without a doubt, my greatest pride.
