Si hubiera sido mujer, usaría café como perfume. (John Van Druten).
Algunas de mi época recordaran las cafeteras grecas, las más jovenes sólo la habrán visto en fotos. Ésta es muy interesante se puede ver parte del colado. Su inventor Alfonso Bialetti en 1933, la compañia del mismo apellido continua fabricándolas.
Para complementar los recuerdos de algunas, realmente es una cafetera italiana o cafetera expreso y popularmente le decimos greca. Se elabora el café haciendo pasar agua hervida presurizada por vapor, a través de café molido. Ese es básicamente su sistema.
Some of my time will remember the Greek coffee machines, the youngest will have only seen it in photos. This is very interesting you can see part of the cast. Its inventor Alfonso Bialetti in 1933, the company of the same surname continues to manufacture them.
To complement the memories of some, it really is an Italian coffee maker or espresso machine and we popularly call it Greek. Coffee is made by passing steam-pressurized boiled water through ground coffee. That's basically your system.
Mi café para sentarme a conversar con alguna amiga es negro y sin azúcar. Me encanta la historia de como fué descubierto las propiedades energizantes del café. Unos monjes observaron a una cabras que se ponían a saltar después de comer las bayas de una planta. Recolectaron algunas pero no les gusto su sabor y las lanzarón al fogón comenzando a lanzar un dulce aroma al tostarse.
My coffee to sit down to talk with a friend is black and without sugar. I love the story of how the energizing properties of coffee were discovered. Some monks observed a goat that began to jump after eating the berries of a plant. They collected some but they didn't like their taste and they threw them on the stove beginning to release a sweet aroma when roasting.
En España llegue a probar muchísimos estilos de café, en ésta ocasión en compañia de mi yerno y acompañado de pan y chocolate para untar en el café, por lo menos eso es lo que yo hago en casa.
In Spain I got to try many styles of coffee, this time in the company of my son-in-law and accompanied by bread and chocolate to spread on the coffee, at least that's what I do at home.
A mi no me cabe duda de que una taza de café traé de la mano la inspiración y la creatividad invitándonos a trabajar en buenas ideas. Siempre me siento feliz con mi taza de café amigable. El café nos despierta e inspira a seguir adelante.
I have no doubt that a cup of coffee brings inspiration and creativity hand in hand, inviting us to work on good ideas. I always feel happy with my friendly cup of coffee. Coffee wakes us up and inspires us to keep going.

Cuándo invito a mis amigas mi licuadora tiene mucho trabajo, porque el secreto es una buena batida para que quede cremoso.
En España probe una delicioso café irlandes que me prepararón mis primas, he tratado de hacerlo aquí en Venezuela pero no me queda igual. Parece que el secreto está en el Whisky irlandés agregado a 70 ml de café cargado y bien caliente, con bastante nata batida o crema de leche.
When I invite my friends, my blender has a lot of work, because the secret is a good shake to make it creamy.
In Spain I tried a delicious Irish coffee that my cousins prepared for me, I have tried to make it here in Venezuela but it doesn't suit me. It seems that the secret is in the Irish Whiskey added to 70 ml of piping hot strong coffee, with plenty of whipped cream or heavy cream.
Aunque en España encontre gran variedad de marcas de café, uno de los fuertes que llegue a probar fué el café Colombiano y los sentí muy parecido a nuestro café Anzoátegui que es elaborado en mi ciudad natal. Siempre es el que compro por su calidad y sabor es mi preferido.
Although in Spain I found a great variety of coffee brands, one of the strong ones that I got to try was Colombian coffee and I felt very similar to our Anzoátegui coffee that is made in my hometown. It is always the one I buy because of its quality and flavor, it is my favorite.
Creó que no me canso de la variedad con la que puedes acompañar el café, siempre mi bebida favorita para todo el día.
He believed that I never get tired of the variety with which you can accompany coffee, always my favorite drink for the whole day.
El café de Verdi, una cafetería en España, siempre lo pedía con chocolate en el fondo, lo acompañaban de una galleta.

En España por el frío mi hija me traía en la noche antes de acostarme una taza de té bien caliente. Aquí en Venezuela no lo tomó tan frecuentemente.

Yo conozco (y tengo) la greca, pero es la que tanto arriba como abajo, es de metal. Así con la parte de arriba en vidrio, jamás la había visto y me parece una belleza. When I was working as a Home Care Nurse, I spent my down times at Coffee houses in between clients as I love the aroma of fresh made coffee while I made my patient reports. I can't go a day without a cup or two.

That's an interesting tale of how the monks discovered coffee :) Black is also my kind of coffee with less sugar, that is. Always good to have them with friends and family.

A mi mamá le encanta mucho el café y ella solía tener una cafetera como esa de la fotografía, recuerdo que su vicio era fumar pero decidió dejarlo cuando yo tan inocente siendo aún una niña se lo pedí, y pues reemplazo ese vicio con la ingesta del café, todas las mañanas y las tardes debe tomar su tacita de café para sentirse realizada

Wow I guess you make your coffee with a blender you make use of in your post and I must say the blender looks expensive and nice.
It is an Oster, the most common brand in Venezuela and I sell parts for it, so I have no problems, it is really very practical. Thank you very much for your support and comment. @mercysugar hug

Si, antes de las cafeteras eléctricas la greca era lo más lujoso para hacer el café por encima de la manga de colado una forma tradicional venezolana. Muchísimas gracias @devania

La verdad que son muchas las formas de como preparar el café, hay tantas formas cada uno al estilo de quien lo hace.
Ese cafecito en las mañanas es muy saludable digan lo que digan.
También me tomo mi café negro y sin azúcar, es raro cuando le coloco un poco de azúcar.
