I really enjoyed your poem @riverflows. It had a very evocative presence, and the juxtaposition of images like 'Even in the kind spring, she is the wrinkled berries on the rotting floor' reveals Kali's dual nature. Wonderful

@saltycat that's so kind of you. I'm glad I managed to capture a tiny bit of Kali here and for it yo be recognized. It truly was like that - as Spring appeared in the UK death still seemed everywhere as the virus 🦠 spread. Yet in nature, it was obvious that death and life joined hands... And even in the blooming, there was decay. We seem to forget that. It's often joy or nothing.
