The Final Ball Glory

in Ladies of Hive8 months ago

The sun blazed over the packed stadium as 18-year-old Rohan Sharma tightened his grip on the bat. His team, the underdog "Mumbai Strikers," needed 4 runs off the last ball to win the championship against the mighty "Delhi Titans." The crowd was deafening—some cheering, some holding their breath.

Rohan had always dreamed of this moment. His father, a former cricketer, had taught him to stay calm under pressure. "Focus on the ball, not the noise," he would say.

The bowler sprinted in, delivering a fierce yorker. Rohan’s eyes locked onto the ball. In a split-second decision, he shuffled slightly and flicked his wrists—sending the ball soaring over fine leg. SIX!

The stadium erupted. Teammates rushed onto the field, lifting Rohan onto their shoulders. Tears of joy streamed down his face as he spotted his father in the stands, nodding proudly. Against all odds, the Mumbai Strikers had won!

Moral: Believe in yourself, stay calm under pressure, and miracles can happen—even on the last ball!
