Hola! ¿Qué tal están? Tengo varias semanas realizando algunas publicaciones en esta comunidad, y finalmente me animé a participar en uno de los concursos semanales. Anteriormente he participado en los concursos, pero tenía muchos meses sin hacerlo, así que estoy muy feliz de retomarlo y espero poder hacerlo semanalmente. La pregunta que escogí para responder hoy fue la siguiente: "How would you spend one million dollars?"
Hi, how are you? I've been making some posts in this community for several weeks, and finally I decided to participate in one of the weekly contests. Previously I have participated in the contests, but I had many months without doing it, so I am very happy to resume it and I hope to be able to do it weekly. The question I chose to answer today was: "How would you spend one million dollars?"
Cuando pienso en un millón de dólares... no pienso realmente en un millón de dólares. Pienso por ejemplo en 3.000 dólares. Con ese dinero traería a mis 3 perros a donde estoy actualmente (ese es el presupuesto para trasladarlos de un país a otro). Con otros 3.000$ más pudiera darles un regalo de navidad a todos mis familiares. Con 14.000$ puedo invertir la mitad acá y la mitad en mi país para que mis familiares tengan otras fuentes de ingreso y yo poder crear mi propio negocio físico. Realmente es de las primeras cosas que haría si tuviera al menos el 10% de un millón de dólares.
When I think of a million dollars... I don't really think of a million dollars. I think for example of $3,000. With that money I would bring my 3 dogs to where I am now (that's the budget to move them from one country to another). With another $3,000 more I could give a Christmas present to all my relatives. With $14,000 I can invest half here and half in my country so that my relatives have other sources of income and I can create my own physical business. It really is one of the first things I would do if I had at least 10% of a million dollars.
Si pienso en el millón de dólares completo, gastaría 300.000$ para comprar dos casa, una para mis papás y una para mi. Apartaría una suma de dinero para ir de viaje a Francia, y también le regalaría un viaje a mis papás a Tulum😉 . Creo que haría una pequeña boda con 20.000$. Pero escogería el vestido más bonito y la decoración más bonita, jajajjaa. Sacando todas estas cuentas, me quedaría más de la mitad del millón de dólares, y ese dinero lo destinaría a inversiones (bienes raíces, criptos, acciones). Cuando las inversiones empiecen a generar ingresos, que eso podría ser inmediatamente dada la suma de dinero, destinaría una parte a realizar donaciones a fundaciones de niños, migrantes y refugios de animales :)
If I think of the whole million dollars, I would spend $300,000 to buy two houses, one for my parents and one for me. I would set aside a sum of money to go on a trip to France, and I would also give my parents a trip to Tulum😉 . I think I would do a small wedding with $20,000. But I would choose the prettiest dress and the prettiest decoration, hahahahahaa. Taking all this math out, I would have more than half of a million dollars left, and that money I would put into investments (real estate, cryptos, stocks). When the investments start generating income, which could be immediately given the amount of money, I would allocate a part of it to donate to children's foundations, migrants and animal shelters :)
Probablemente las cosas que más quiero en este momento no necesariamente implican grandes sumas de dinero, solo unos cuantos miles de dólares. Algunas de las cosas ni siquiera tienen valor monetario. No intento ser hippie o algo por el estilo hahaha, creo que cuando empiece a tener a mi lado lo que mencioné antes, en ese caso podía empezar a pensar en bolsos de marca y viajes, muchos viajes :)
Probably the things I want most right now don't necessarily involve large sums of money, just a few thousand dollars. Some of the things don't even have monetary value. I'm not trying to be a hippie or anything like that hahaha, I think when I start to have what I mentioned before by my side, in that case I could start thinking about branded handbags and travel, lots of travel :)
