This is discovered to be a replica and not the genuine thing by my Hong Kong connection. My ancestor may have handled many of the real silver bars as a part of his Jewelry business. The genuine piece would have been nice to have but that would have cost me much much more $$$. A replica made with 98% silver was what I was really after and yet makes a fine addition to my heirloom Treasure to remember him.
