En esta ocasión, tengo el gusto de participar en la iniciativa semanal #215 de esta hermosa comunidad, que nos trae los siguientes temas a desarrollar:

Desde niña, mis recuerdos navideños están enmarcados en la alegría de compartir en familia, ya que íbamos a casa de alguna de mis abuelas (nos turnábamos porque ellas vivían en ciudades distintas) y era el lugar donde todos sus hijos con esposos (as) y nietos(as) se reunían para festejar la Navidad y el Año Nuevo.
No faltaba el plato navideño, vino y ponche crema y para año nuevo, las 12 uvas que nos comemos al ritmo de cada campanada de la medianoche.
Es bonito vivir al máximo esos momentos y guardarlos en nuestra memoria, porque el tiempo pasa, crecemos, nos casamos, algunos de nuestros afectos emigran, otros parten de este plano terrenal y al final, no encontramos reuniéndonos en casas diferentes, con personas diferentes y esas fiestas que en aquella época yo veía como lo cotidiano, pasan a ser sólo preciados recuerdos.
Since I was a child, my Christmas memories are framed in the joy of sharing with my family, since we would go to one of my grandmothers' houses (we would take turns because they lived in different cities) and it was the place where all their children, husbands, wives and grandchildren would gather to celebrate Christmas and New Year's Eve.
There was no lack of Christmas dishes, wine and cream punch and for the New Year, the 12 grapes that we ate at the rhythm of each stroke of midnight.
It is nice to live those moments to the fullest and keep them in our memory, because time goes by, we grow up, we get married, some of our loved ones emigrate, others leave this earthly plane and in the end, we do not find ourselves meeting in different houses, with different people and those parties that at that time I saw as everyday, become only precious memories.
Los últimos 7 años he celebrado las Navidades en casa de mi suegra, mis abuelitas ya no están, mi familia de sangre migró y me mudé a la ciudad donde vive la familia de mi esposo, así que ahora tengo la oportunidad de compartir con ellos las festividades de esta época y ha sido también algo grandioso, porque realmente cada momento es único y aprendí a que no son eternos, hay que disfrutarlos al máximo mientras duren.
Hubo un tiempo en el que celebrábamos sólo mi esposo y yo en casa, en todo caso, mi sentimiento siempre ha sido el mismo: Mucha emoción, alegría, esperanza y optimismo. La Navidad y Año Nuevo son temporadas mágicas.
The last 7 years I have celebrated Christmas at my mother-in-law's house, my grandmothers are gone, my blood family migrated and I moved to the city where my husband's family lives, so now I have the opportunity to share with them the festivities of this time and it has also been something great, because really every moment is unique and I learned that they are not eternal, you have to enjoy them to the fullest while they last.
There was a time when we celebrated only my husband and I at home, in any case, my feeling has always been the same: Lots of excitement, joy, hope and optimism. Christmas and New Year are magical seasons.
En relación a mis prioridades para el 2025 está, en primer lugar, terminar una casa que ha estado también por 7 años en remodelación y que por el factor dinero no hemos podido terminarla, pero sé que esta vez sí será posible, quizás no quedará como la imaginé, pero sí al menos estará habitable. Es algo muy necesario para que mi familia y yo podamos estar más cómodos.
En segundo lugar, pero no menos importarte, está reorganizar mi vida para sacarle máximo provecho, tengo muchos planes, pero no he conseguido el enfoque que necesito para concretarlos, pienso que eso está asociado a la necesidad que tengo de un mejor espacio para vivir, creo que cuando me sienta a gusto en el lugar donde vivo, mi mente se sentirá más libre y creativa y podré organizarme a fin de lograr mis metas del nuevo año.
Sólo eso, tengo planeado por los momentos, pero aunque no lo crean, esas dos prioridades implican mucho más de lo que parece.
In relation to my priorities for 2025 is, first of all, to finish a house that has also been under renovation for 7 years and that due to the money factor we have not been able to finish it, but I know that this time it will be possible, maybe it will not be as I imagined it, but at least it will be habitable. It is something very necessary so that my family and I can be more comfortable.
Second, but not less important, is to reorganize my life to make the most of it, I have many plans, but I have not achieved the focus I need to make them concrete, I think that is associated with the need I have for a better living space, I think that when I feel comfortable in the place where I live, my mind will feel more free and creative and I can organize myself in order to achieve my goals for the new year.
That's all I have planned for the moment, but believe it or not, those two priorities imply much more than it seems.

I used to go to my grandma's house during festival season or vacation time and used to enjoy my time playing with my cousins. Those were memorable days, we used to have a lot of fun. I wish you all the best for the upcoming year and hope you will be able to manage the renovation of the house fully.
