Many people do not believe that I am in my early thirties. I appear younger than my age. Whenever I see people of my age range growing bigger in body size and height it gets me worried. Everything in me appears young and small.
I don't know if other people feel the same way. I am far younger than my age. I don't know why it is so but I think it's my nature. Looking younger than your age has lots of advantages and disadvantages.
One of the benefits I enjoy is that I will not grow old soon. In other words, I will live longer on earth compared to those who are older than their age. Moreover, some of the things that pressure others don't get a hold on me easily. For instance, marriage pressures. Nobody will see me as getting too old for marriage. In fact, many will think that I am still young.
However, this kind of nature comes with insults from younger people. Younger people who would have naturally respected you will talk to you without regard, thinking that they are older. Amongst my siblings, I am the oldest but smaller in stature. Our lastborn happens to be the tallest and biggest. Whenever I walk with him, he looks elderly. I don't know why nature has to treat me this way.
Beyond the physical looks, I also feel younger in thought and in mindset. I am saying this because I feel like I am not ready for some responsibilities that my age mate has already taken responsibility for. For instance, I feel that I am not ready for marriage. I don't know why I feel that way. Most of my age mates are already married, some have given birth to children, yet I am not ready. I don't think that this is normal. I might need to see a therapist.
Anyway, I think that humans have different times and calendars. When the time for a thing to happen in a person's life reaches, he will know, and the promptings will occur.

Youth is fleeting however looking younger than you are can be a blessing, especially when you do get older. I can remember when I was 26 years old and was buying a bottle of wine for dinner. The clerk asked for ID and I felt a bit put out by that at the time. Now, I think it might have been a compliment, lol!
