Since I started my second academic journey it's been from one discovery to another, you'd feel like you're way behind schedule.
I Attended a Polytechnic, where i got a degree in Office Technology and Management also called OTM
But to me it was just another basic degree and i felt i wouldn't be able to do much with it after all, but then here comes another decision to go for something that would give me purpose and happiness when i look back at the experience.
So i went ahead and take the required exams and then boom i landed my desired course for study at the Unique University of Port Harcourt, but then it doesn't come with an easy requirement.
my happiness and life choice i started to rethink, because how can a school that sounded exciting have so much down sides and stress to accompany it, from my induction rehearsals ( which was fun by the way) to meeting up deadlines for course registrations , it just wasn't an easy deal for I and the rest of my coursemates.
We usually have to register our courses so that they can be registered and added to our Biodata as students, but tell me why, they alway gave us deadlines that seemed Fake, this is quite an Irony as they never keep to there words of " Tomorrow is the Deadline or Next week is the Deadline". but we still see them extending the date for deadline and giving us more time or new alternatives to carry out any task given to us a students.
But the advantage to obeying the SO called deadline is that you get your information already worked out , or you get early access to the text book, or you get to escape the Increase made from the initial price that was given to be meet before hand.
at first it kept us on our foot , but it came with financial stress and mental panic, i sometimes started to overthink my choices, but i made sure that i wouldn't give up, as I am now familiar with the schools antics of the so called deadlines that seems like a joke.
So now i have learnt not to panic in school or at anything in life because it might look like you wouldn't get to your finish line only for you too get to it even after the deadline and still feel proud of yourself.
My Encouragement to you is that you shouldn't panic as it would be alright in the end.
Reading between the lines, is that you need a challenge. Something that is relevant and meaningful giving us that sense of urgent purpose. MAybe to prove ourselves or make a real difference. Am I close?
