I'd love to send one general message to everyone that I'm connected to on Hive because I don't think I can catch up on the messages in the next days so this is the easiest way. I hope your NYE was nice and spent with loved ones!
Recap
Normally I start to write a recap of the year quite early on and keep adding things until it's the last week of the year more or less but this year, December was so busy that I never got to that point. I feel a bit bumned about it to be honest because I really want to write these things down so we can read back every year to see what went well, what didn't and especially as a reminder that it was another year of growth, which is again the case.
I'm now trying to catch up on some work stuff first before I plan on getting this written down at least for ourselves.
Intentions
I'm not going to state a list of good intentions for the new year as many do, but I planned on continuing our NYE with a painting writing them down for us as a family to have a certain focus this year, sadly NYE didn't go as planned and this is also postponed until next week or so. In the end, it doesn't matter as it's still early in the year and we know where we're heading, I personally need to divide things into steps a bit to not loose focus so that's something I'm going to get done soon.
This year one main thing is to save a certain amount every month when my salary arrives, as this is the first month in the next quarter after being employed by my boyfriend so finally, we'll reap the rewards from this arragement. I'm very much looking forward to seeing the savings account grow this year.
Meanwhile, for my boyfriend a little more than for me, it's important to plan enough trips (even if they don't cost a thing) in the weekends (and when possible evenings) so that quality of life remains. Especially in winter I notice an increase of complaints for being inside so much so I plan on finding more things to do in the free time this year.
Haha, now I still shared a few of the "intentions" while in reality they aren't that hard to achieve so I don't really count them as such.
Silver gold stackers
I planned on sharing a precious gift I received from a Silver Gold Stackers member a few weeks ago as well but my battery of the camera is dead so I'll do that in a few days instead. That gives me some time to capture the other silver rounds I collected over the past months but never shared on Hive so far as well. And a new one is just bought today, woop. Let's grow the stack this year!

I had a fine New Years eve with my single parent mom Tenant and some neighbors. I baked some goodies to snack on. When it came,it was brief and about 4 Celsius outside. At least it wasn't raining. My drink of the night was classic Eggnog with a little Captain Morgan Spiced Rum. We watched a few fireworks and scurried back in and had a game session with my sons over the Steam internet game platform.
I told my Tenant, I won't raise the rent just like the last seven years.

Nah it's not really resolutions as "I will drink less" (I actually rarely drink at all lol, maybe once or twice a year one drink) but more those goals businesswise and making progress financially etc.. it's important to write them out I think.
The battery was my stupid fault, I didn't pay attention on NYE to the battery :)
It took so long to get it sorted but yeah, things will look much better financially after taxes this year. Will be able to save a lot more which is great.. better than paying taxes with that money, that's for sure!
Hope you get all the things done that you want to this year. And if not then I hope you at least have fun trying :D
