I Didn't Get Through It Alone. Loh291

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog, happy Sunday from this side of the world.

I do not think I can say that there was one person who helped me during my hardest times, My life has taught me that sometimes I survive times because many people decide to show up for me in different ways.

When I look back at some of the periods of my life I realize that I had help coming from many different directions, Some people helped me with advice some people helped me financially when things were really tight other people helped me with school fees, bills or by being available when I needed someone to talk to, Every single one of those acts of kindness from those people mattered to me.

There were moments when I genuinely did not know how I was going to handle situations, You know those periods where one problem seems to arrive before I have even finished dealing with one , I have had times like that, those times leave me staring at my phone calculating expenses over and over hoping somehow the numbers will magically change..

And somehow, people showed up, sometimes it was a message asking how I was doing, sometimes it was someone giving me advice that helped me make a better decision, sometimes it was financial support that came exactly when I needed it most, looking back now, I can honestly say that many of those difficult moments would have been much harder without the people around me.

What makes it even more special is that not all of these people were helping because they expected something in return, a lot of them simply saw someone struggling and decided to help, that is something I will never take for granted.

I wish I could mention every name of those people because they all deserve recognition, there are people whose kindness I still remember years later there are people who may not even realize how much their help meant to me at the time, What seemed small to them was sometimes a big deal to me.

One thing I carry with me because of those experiences is gratitude. Genuine gratitude, life has shown me that no matter how independent we try to be, there are moments when we need others, there is no shame in that, In fact, some of the strongest people I know are the ones who are willing to accept help when they need it and appreciate it when it comes.

I may not be able to repay every one of those people today but it is something I think about most of the time, and I hope that one day I will be in a position to help people the way people helped me, I hope I can be the answer to someone's prayer the way many people became answers to my prayers.

For all those who have supported me through times whether through advice, encouragement, financial assistance or simply their presence I am deeply grateful for those people, i honestly would not be where I am today, without those people my friends and family.

Yes, not everyone helps people with the hope of getting something out of it. Not everyone is selfish, and some people come into our lives suddenly with unconditional help and support. I used to think I had no one in life, but later, when I started looking deeper, I noticed I am always surrounded by love and support from the people... That's a blessing...

That is one of my greatest desires as well. To be in a position to help others the same way people helped me. To become the answer to someone's prayer. I'm trying my best to be that person.
