How are you? Hope everything is fine.
He said to me.
Some days ago, I reflected on that statement and how powerful and healing it could be. The usual question we often ask is: "How are you?" It's not in all cases that people ask because they really care to know. It's a norm for beginning a conversation, and so the real weight or meaning of that question is lost.

The previous day, I slept early, switched off my data and left WhatsApp by 6:20 pm. I took my night bath and went for a stroll, enjoying the evening breeze and ended up buying some mangoes. My nephews and niece were visiting the next day, and I prepared for them because they like eating mangoes.
I returned around 7:45 pm and was tired; I had some important messages to reply to before going to bed. I didn't bother having dinner, so I took my phone, lay on my bed around 8:20 pm and fell asleep.
The following day, I woke up and was grateful to count myself among the living- Thank God, and I'm still grateful.
I checked my WhatsApp and scrolled through and was surprised he messaged me;
"How are you? Hope everything is fine?"
It wasn't the last message I received the previous day, but it was the first message I decided to open, even when I had business messages to reply to. Smiles.
I opened his message, and tears (of joy) almost ran down my cheeks. I was happy he messaged me. I felt relieved even before I replied to his message. I paused and asked myself;
"Why was he moved to ask me this?"
It's not the first time, and it hasn't been long since we communicated, but that hit me differently, and I believed he felt something".
Do you think he is my crush, my boyfriend, my fiancé, my lover? Nope, he is one of my elder brothers. Smiles. We actually have a group where we all siblings communicate almost every day, but he decided to message me privately.
Guess what?
I didn't reply immediately, I went over to my Samsung Note and started writing this post you are reading now. Smiles
Yeah.
We all have secret storms, those experiences we feel we can't share, and it just keeps us in deep thoughts. A call can change our mood, lessen the burden and put us back on track.
Who is that family member or friend you haven't communicated with in a while, like 2 days, 3 days, 1 week or more?
Try to send them a message, ask them- "How have you been feeling and how is everything?" Do some catching up. They will be willing to share one or two experiences with you, which will relax their minds and put smiles on their faces, giving them hope to live, love and be grateful to God Almighty.
Now, my friends, how do you feel after reading this post? Let me really ask you, How are you really doing? Do you have peace of mind? Are you happy?
Whatever you may be going through, you are not alone, but God is with you and will see you through it all. It's a testing phase, and the waiting period is always the most difficult to bear, but truly rewarding.
I hope it helps you feel better. See you in the comment section.
