Such a good query.

I would like to see more participation by the users we have....of course...that is easy to say and hard to do....because it requires time.

Cheers, Bleujay

Indeed and I think we could use some some cooperation and coordination across front ends especially in regards to new users and onboarding !DOOK !BBH !PIMP

The biggest obstacle I see is that we have the ideal solution to problems most refuse to see: government and megacorporation censorship, government monetary mischief, and social media ad revenue incentives. HIVE needs to be promoted as a solution when these problems are raised.

I'm with you but what about how overwhelming it can be to get started on hive

All the keys can seem bewildering at first, but it's not really too complicated. Then again, I know some people got mad at passwords and 2fa for standard websites at the library, so even that bothers some. Keychain simplifies day-to-day use though.

Right but still that's all things that need to be learned, RC, HP, HBD witness voting and much much more

A lot of that can be learned over time. Basics: what are keys? Which to use where? Why can't I post and comment much right away?

Idea: Maybe there's a way to automate delegating RC to new accounts for a week or two until their intro post pays out?

I personally think there needs to be more of a guide almost like a video game tutorial on all the front ends

Like,

"Introduction post: dos and don'ts"
"Markdown basics"
"HIVE jargon lexicon"
"What's a frontend?"

If there's a wiki, we should update it and include links, maybe even in menus on all frontends.

I would say I.R.L. use cases

Can you give any examples ?

  • websites using the blockchain data for everyday's business, like what I try to do on the ecu page, but also with the linking of nft to communities membership
  • more people accepting maybe not hive, but hbd at least, it's stable, so why not using it...

Lots of people use HBD but only in some regions is it really popular

Cool, let's propagade it worldwwide then :)

That is the challenge
