As I get older, I'm trying to try new things. Summer is a good time for this too. So, yesterday I installed one of those "Calm" type apps. It was weird. Somehow I thought it was more than just listening to sounds. Plus, installing the thing was dang stressful. Step after step after step after almost there...etc. I never even got to the sounds, finally uninstalled it, and felt more stressed than before.

I try not to get too into the weeds in terms of mental/emotional optimization especially with modern tools. I sit and meditate with no external enhancements but I do think as a start, this apps could work well to ignite the process.
Sounds like a good plan. I guess I really didn't know what the apps were.
Haha. I've tried those apps before, but I get quite annoyed by the voices.
You can 'easily' put on some music and sit still with your eyes closed paying attention to your breathing.
