I always think of it as just part of the civic duty ... I like for there to be roads, schools, transportation, and other public goods ... there are public evils too that I don't like, but that is life. Nothing is perfect.

That's a good way to think about that but unfortunately our taxes doesn't work that way 😄To me it's just paying a piece of mind and knowing that I can complain about stuff cause I pay taxes haha
