That's such a lovely view indeed!
That was the first time I approached the top from that particular path, and that was the surprise that greeted me when I turned around to look ... a blessing, since usually the fog is much thicker!
That's beautiful, a view of the sea can never be anything else, but it surprised me as I never realised San Fransisco would be so tropical. The first photo seemed to have as many coconut trees as we do, here in Thailand!
Fun facts about San Francisco: I have picked and eaten fingerling bananas in January in Golden Gate Park ... out of the cold northwest winds, we can get ANYTHING to grow here ... and half the time, it will fruit!
