I see many Hive users accumulating and staking HBD now near HIVE’s bottom. I was wondering, what’s the point? Maybe I’m missing something but I believe it’s a good strategy only if you think the HIVE price stays the same or is going lower in the future.

Sort:

Yeah never understood that one either, not to mention hbd apr isn't guaranteed like hp one is (as long as you don't upvote trash)

If you can time it well, powering down and converting is potentially a good win but at these prices seems like a wasted opportunity. Buy HIVE instead, keep it in savings (to add another security layer), wait for a good pump and start converting to HBD on the way up, then stake.

Yeah I definitely plan on converting some to HBD this time around to hopefully grow my stake through buying back at a later date, let's see how high we go this time around

Its never too late

Honestly i have a 50/50 split in terms of rewards as hive can go up or down but HBD tends to be more stable so it nice to have both

People usually do the opposite of what they should be doing.

People should be Selling all their HBD now … when Hive is Low and Buy it back when Hive hits $3 …. Or $10 …

This is the Way it’s done.

Over and over and over again … until they have 1 Billion HBD.

Everyone on Hive should have a minimum of 100,000 HBD if they really believe in Hive.
