I doubt that
Look for Elizabeth Holmes. She claimed to have invented a machine that made the impossible, which made her a "fortune" of 16 billion dollars. When it was discovered that the machine never existed, her fortune fell to zero.
Her fortune was Theranos stock she could never sell.
So she was a billionaire only on paper? That must have sucked.
I believe all billionaires are on paper. Their whole Fortune is just estimations of how much money investtors are willing to bet on their ideas. Do you really believe Tesla motors is worth more than all other car manufacturers combined? It is all an empty vault.
