Yes, they are VERY old... 2TB disks. Full of bad sectors... but HDDs are much more resilient medium of storage. They can take more damage than NVMes and Tape...
But its a dying technology in my view.

I think the next batch of hdd i buy to upgrade my NAS will be the last I buy.
