Right but picture having to pull out your private key everytime you perform a simple transaction? I am not sure how the spam behaved, but the one I know which is a pool, you need to send your hive to that pool. Some don't even need to use a Hive app, they do it straight from Binance. This is a post from the Hive Telegram group with people crying about their exited funds. No keys were used to perform this scam.
That too, and those are much harder because you sort of have to teach people to go trustless.
Although my first level of awareness was actually the stealing of keys, because people provide them.
Maybe some imagery would help... 🤷♂️
