I haven't done videos in a while... I am really rusty... but the feat of what Magi is achieving motivates me to do one. And was also a way to test shorts on ecency. Next is another video for adding liquidity and swapping HIVE/BTC/HBD all on Hive via Altera on Magi!

Nop its "like" Hive-Engine. Its layer 2 on top of Hive, called Magi (used to be called VSC) and via this front end you can log with your hive keychain.

I don't think I'll ever need this, but it's still good to know. I've read a lot about Magi, but only things that people talk about, nothing about the project itself. But from what little I know, it looks great.

I am going to do another video later today about how to add to liquidity pools and how to swap. I don't know if people understand the scale of this has to Hive. People will be able to move HIVE into BTC and BTC into HIVE directly without KYC, without exchanges! Without a middleman! This is brutal!
Mmm... That does sound great, but... didn't something like this already exist on Hive? What's the difference between Magi and the other trading platforms in this ecosystem? 🤔
Are you referring to Hive Engine? If yes, then yep, it's also another layer 2 on top of Hive. Although different. For users, there is not much difference at the start, but the more experience users get the more people will want specific "freedom" solutions for certain things.
There are also more fees to withdraw on HE than on Magi. But overall, HE is a very nice alternative. And on Hive, we need alternatives; otherwise, we would be in a very different position.
Well, I was referring to the InLeo DEX (LeoDex or something like that is its name). There's another one there called Thorchain, but I don't know if it's from the same people as InLeo or even from Hive. 🤔
There are definitely alternatives on Hive. 😅
LeoDex does not run on Hive. Thorchain is an independent chain (also not related to Hive).
