There's a Portuguese tart shop in the city here. It is called Saudade. I love regular custard tarts, Portuguese ones are next level. The fun thing about Saudade - the shop is that they created them for the same reason - to travel back to home. And to make me want to go there too.
And the most surprising thing is that 4 of these are only 9 NZD... which is just a little above the Portuguese price... which is nuts how they managed to market this thing so low and maintain such great quality. I am like speechless.
I don't remember how much they cost locally, but they're made fresh, and I will always get one when I wander past their shop and they're open... or maybe a 6 pack.
