You say that but on web2.0 people are constantly discussing art, anime, manga, comics, music etc. But on here each of those are still painfully thin. Very stretched out communities and some incredibly niche. Hive desperately needs more normal people
And they are happy doing so there, on a simple mail&password platform with no resource credits whatsoever, where you can easily set a new password once you lost your previous one. Most of these platforms also allow you to moderate privacy somehow, like to publish restricted content for certain people only. Whitelisted by you, or members of certain community, or something like that.
But we also desperately need them. Otherwise Hive stagnates with near primarily finance content and dries up with odd expectations and demands from generally non-creative types
We indeed do. And a catchy, genuinly entertaining game would do better that anything else I can think of, when it comes to onboarding normal people ;)
Games cost a lot to develop, without real money, we end up with pseudo-games like the "idle games" (Terracore, Crownrend) or ones that die before they start.
