My guilty pleasure is browsing flat-earthers' and similar freaks' forums and mock them. We have plenty of these here in the Czech Republic. Billy would be Bohouš here ;)

There have been some around here. I tried debating with them, but they won't listen to reason. Let them live in delusion.
There are stragegies how to talk to people who had felt for conspiracies, but they require having guts to dive deep into sh*t and loads of time. Debating does not work, as it has rather high requirements - you expect your counterpart(s) to avoid fallacies and respect logics, but such people don't really do so.
I don't think they base it on logic. Seems to be more of a social/political thing based on 'secret knowledge'. The shape of the world doesn't really affect daily life, but don't trust them to fly a plane, predict the weather, study geology....
What's logic then? ;) It's a norm. "Logic" in the eyes of a native Papuan tribe is likely completely different to what logic means to a European person. (There are several intact tribes in Papua, which are priceless for anthropologists and other scientists).
These people do base their beliefs on logic. A twisted one, but still logic.
We shall not mock them, though (I do a bit, it's my guilty pleasure). They kinda reflect our society, educational system, and values, and also show how we fail enculturating masses.
One tried to convince me with a 'documentary' called Level. Their 'experts' are hairdressers and gym instructors. I did watch it and made some comments about how bad it was.
I appreciate your effort and I did bookmark it. However, I'd need like a two-years long sabbatical to go through everything I've bookmarked :) Just being honest here ;)
There is no way to get them out of their madness
Well, there are methodologies suggesting how to approach people believing in such conspiracies. I've never had the guts (and time) to try them out, though :)
I've seen podcasts where these people are invited and I've been surprised by how negative they are. They have their ideology, if you can call it that, very much ingrained in their heads.
Well, that's the cornerstone of any conspiracy :)
You're right, there's very little that can be done about that.
