‘For the good of…’ Social media minimum age TV advertisement from Australia.

What's the appropriate age for children to start with social media in your opinion?

At an age they can make good decisions.

From the age they can rationalize about the good and bad from the digital space and be able to protect themselves against bad actors.

When the child is old enough to think right and make good choices.

After high school, in my opinion. Social media does a lot to young children and teenagers, so they need to build focus so they scale through that period where they should be reading a lot without the distraction of SM. They can have SM accounts opened for them before then and Parents can handle their SM pages till then.
