When you care for someone, you become considerate and you stay that till the love runs its course and then its followed by coldness. The other person still doesnt know . They will feel like alien might doubt themselves, their own efforts and their personality. The most brutal thing one can do to someone they made all promises to, is leave them with a version of them they trusted and knew to love. Now you are cold and dont love them anymore but they are stuck with your fake version that did.
