Re-snap is appreciated
"Sleepers" by Lorenzo Carcaterra. It throws me into a different time, feeling like I am genuinely living the story I am reading. Friendship, heartache, sadness. This book has it all to pull on ones heart strings! Always reminds me of the holidays and being cosy, reading this book
What a great recommendation. Happy Holiday and thank you for replying to our snap 😊
Happy Holidays! :D
Walden by Thoreau. A) It was such a peaceful read and I often imagine being able to do what he did. B) A couple of years after reading it, I found out it was my grandfather's favorite book! I didn't know my grandfather intimately, so this commonality brings me comfort.
That's a great recommendation. I've heard great things about it as well. Thank you for sharing your go-to comfort book 😊
Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson. Extremely visionary, creative and a page-turner as well!
Another great recommendation, we hope you also received the tip from us. Happy holidays and here's to more books in 2025 😊
Many thanks, same to you!
Jurassic Park, by Michael Crichton.
After I saw the movie, this book easily became one of my favorites (and also because it brings back great memories).
Let me tell you a secret, I didn't even know Jurassic Park has a book! Thanks for recommending it to us and mentioning about it. Happy Holiday 😊
No worries, haha! Many people have no idea about this book.
Happy Holiday.
