I don't play FPL with the salary caps because I hate everyone owning the same 7 good players.
I'm patiently waiting for my h2h EPL draft league that starts in a few weeks. I have a championship to defend after Isak, Bruno F, Mitoma, and Maddison carried me to top last season!
Yeah, sometimes the seasons do get like that although I thought last year, there was a lot more variation in squads mainly because they made the top players so expensive. We'll wait and see what happens this year. Everyone is watching for those bargain players to emerge
