It achieves very little, you're not censored. I don't see any reason why you should be. Downvotes don't censor anyone, they reduce rewards at best, and at worst, add bloat to the block log.

ye bloat is my biggest concern tbh
every now and then I go and counter them if others have voted on my comments genuinely, so they'd get some curation back that these downvoters may have taken
could also easily be automated, just not by me lol
