Now the cookies are iced and sprinkled. This always means that Christmas is very near. We did this with our parents growing up. Now each year I make them for our family Christmas party, because they taste like our childhood. Oh... how the happy memories flood back.

It's funny, but there are some traditional family Christmas sweets, like these, that we don't make any other time of the year. Certainly makes them feel special and makes Christmas feel more special too.
