Republicans, if you pass a law banning vaguely-defined "hate speech," the Democrats will use those laws against you. Many are already trying to blame Charlie Kirk's assassination on his own "hate speech," and they already think anyone to the right of Hillary Clinton is Hitler.

It's amazing how many people (both Republicans and Democrats) that can't make the logical connection that the power given to one is given to the other as well.
Democracy today seems to mean no one has a time horizon extending beyond the next election cycle.
Once you see enough of this, it becomes pretty obvious that the two parties are colluding.
Whether they deliberately collude, or share the same core belief in state supremacy, the result is the same: cancerous growth of the government to the detriment of liberty, opportunity, and prosperity for the populace.
Is there such legislation being proposed? I haven't seen anything like that being proposed. It would seem to undermine what Charlie Kirk stood for.
Attorney General Pam Bondi suggested using existing hate speech laws. I have seen some suggestions of new hate speech legislation circulating as well.
Using existing laws would drip with irony. New laws are a nonstarter.
Free speech includes hate speech and soon any dissent will be labeled as such if they use the phrase as a weapon like the left has been. Two sides of the same coin
