A family friend's phone died. That battery is a puffy little pillow of danger here. I was able to remove it, but the damn phone won't boot through a USB cable because it senses the battery is gone now. Samsung phones suck IMHO.

I agree, lately everything from Samsung hasn't been working well. This year my TV screen went black. It would turn on but everything was dark. I had to throw it away and I'll never buy anything from Samsung again.
I think they still have a good reputation for things like hard drives, thumb drives, and memory cards.
True, but other sectors are also falling short.
I feel you… their quality has really dropped lately.

My Samsung products lasted me well before it crashed. It's possible the phone is old. The issue is actually about getting their parts because it's usually very expensive. I'm still currently using a Samsung phone

Not a fan of Apple. Taking apart this Galaxy was a PITA, and my previous Galaxies both bloated themselves to oblivion with software weirdness. I'm much more satisfied with Motorola.

I was disappointed when Nokia went all-in on Windows Mobile when they abandoned Symbian.
Naturally, I hate everything called Samsung. Their products are not only expensive but has no duplicate. So now, what's the next option?
