When you vote the containers for snaps and waves you get rewarded from both?
I’m assuming they fall under different ones but still on chain across the board?

Each container is like a separate post and yes you'll get curation rewards from each, but earning author rewards is not guaranteed.
You get a portion of the author rewards if the platform account(Peakd, Waves, InLeo, etc) upvotes you according to the % of the vote and on top of that you get curation rewards.
Such a cool way to earn some extra Hive.
Regardless of what you upvote, a container-post, a normal post or a comment, you get curation rewards, but only if the total rewards of that post/comment are above the "dust"-treshold of 0,025$.
