Composting 1 kg of food waste prevents 0.25 kg of CO₂ from landfill gas. Turning leftovers into carbon savings = chef’s kiss 👨‍🍳♻️

I keep trying to convince my partner to get into the composting since we keep a few bins on our patio to grow veggies and herbs and go through plenty of coffee grounds and egg shells each week. But she complains about the stank and the bugs and I keep getting shot down.

I am sure there is also a solution for that. You can maybe find some ways around it and propose composting again. 😉

I really should. You are right. Our cannabis plants growing on the patio would have been so much happier with homemade compost fertilizer to replenish their nutrients. Instead they struggled all season with just NYC tap water to feed off of.

The world needs more of this.

True, recycling, composting and simply not ending the link if there are still possible cycles in it.

You've said it all.

We just need to take one more step from where we are stopping at.

Indeed.

We can do this.

This is definitely a good way to ♻️ waste
