I used Photo Revive AI. I think I used a restore feature. It does look good. Only problem is it looks like it was a rainy PNW day that now kind of looks sunny and blue sky. :)
Lol the blue sky. It looks cool though. I've used ChatGPT for sharpening old blurry images and sometimes it doesn't work because it makes assumptions when it does not have sufficient context. It's much better than it was just a few months ago.
Actually, now that I look back at the images, I thought the blue colour was from the mountainside, not the sky. So maybe the AI got it right. You can see the silver sky through the canopy on the updated image.
After I looked a little closer you are right, that is the mountain side with a bit of gray sky above it. I thought it had just made it into blue sky. May have to give the AI software another chance with some more of his images.
