They say orb-weaver spiders are harmless to humans, but if agitated, they might give you a little love bite or two, though the effects rarely need medical attention.

That's a nice shot. The way that spider makes the web looks like an art canvas.
These spiders are clever. They build their webs along open spaces to catch their prey. The web is tied to trees on either side of this path.
Spiders are truly fascinating... they're nature's artists! ^^
Those webs are masterful. They can span large open spaces, and the two I found had been placed on either side of a path, so humans won't tear them accidently. Clever!
I'm not looking forward to receiving a love bite but I'll try to see it that way if it happens. I like to observe such webs, very fine, structured, fragile.
They say symptoms might include numbing, swelling, nausea, and dizziness, but it's usually harmless.
My anxiety is what will get me over seeing one lol
I used to "fish" tarantulas with bubble gum. It was fun! None got hurt 😇
Umm no lol I'd pass out lol
Good to know, I always thought they looked a bit scary but harmless makes sense
It's a good thing too.
I know, right? Thanks for sharing
